It has a flavor that is reminiscent of ginger ale.

In the West, ginger is a very popular ingredient in many seasonal desserts. In the East, ginger is celebrated as a digestive and palate cleanser. At Dru Era, ginger is renowned as one of our favorite teas, combining the fresh taste of ginger with the rich taste of pure Ceylon black tea.

How to make Iced Ginger Tea

Brew a cup of very strong Ginger Tea by adding two tea spoons to one cup of boiling water. Let steep for 3 - 5 minutes. Add a little lemon juice, some sparkling mineral water and ice for a delightful beverage.

How to brew Hot Ginger Tea

  • Use only bottled or filtered water.
  • Boil one cup of water.
  • Put two tea spoons of Ginger Tea into the cup.
  • let it sit for 3 - 5 minutes before drinking.
  • Add a sweetener or a slice of lemon to taste.
One serving of Ginger Tea can be brewed over three times. Just keep pouring hot water after you finish drinking each cup. With each steep another element of the flavour could be enjoyed

For some people, the taste of ginger can be overpowering. Decreasing the steeping time or by adding more hot water can help to temper the taste.
