Occasionally, a batch can be a little drier than usual, which makes the thinner quills more likely to crumble, particularly when used as a coffee stirrer. As a quick tip, we recommend using the thicker sticks as stir sticks for beverages, as they hold together better, and reserving the thinner ones for baking or cooking, where their aroma really shines.
