It's made entirely from "Alba" the highest grade Ceylon cinnamon bark with no added tea leaves, so you can enjoy it any time of day, including before bed.
If you want a version with caffeine, we also offer a Black and Green Tea blend.

What's the best way to brew cinnamon tea for maximum flavor?
The key with pure cinnamon tea is patience. Unlike regular tea, you'll want to steep it for 15 to 25 minutes in boiling water (around 212°F).
The longer you brew, the stronger the flavor. If it tastes weak after a few minutes, just let it steep longer.
You can also reuse the same tea bag up to 4 times.

Most cinnamon teas use cassia cinnamon, which is cheaper but contains more coumarin (a compound that can stress the liver with heavy use).
DRUERA uses only "Alba" grade Ceylon cinnamon, the highest grade produced in Sri Lanka from the same farm we've worked with since 2005.
Less than 1% of the harvest can be converted to "Alba" Cinnamon.
Our tea bags are biodegradable pyramid bags, and we ship directly from Sri Lanka so there's no sitting in warehouses.
We were also the first in the world to offer 100% Ceylon cinnamon in pyramid tea bags back in 2014.

Absolutely. Place about 8 tea bags in a heat-resistant pitcher, pour 2 cups of boiling water over them, and steep for 15 to 25 minutes.
Then add cold water and ice to fill the pitcher. It makes a refreshing summer drink that's naturally sweet and spiced, no sugar needed.

Ceylon cinnamon has a sweeter, more delicate flavor compared to the stronger, spicier taste of cassia cinnamon (which is what most grocery store cinnamon products use).
If you're used to cassia-based teas, Ceylon may taste lighter and more refined. It's the same reason chefs prefer Ceylon for baking and desserts.

Not at all what I expected. Great flavor but seemed a little weak. I just leave the tea bag in to steep longer.

I ordered this tea 2 or so years ago and thought it was fantastic. This time not so. Even using 2 tea bags at a time, the tea is not even close to what it was before with one tea bag. I was so disappointed. The quality is nothing like it was. I am not sure what happened but it must not contain near the amount of the pure cinnamon… must be lots of filler material. I went from giving it a 5 star rating to 1 star,

To clarify, we have not changed the Alba cinnamon grade used in our tea bags, and we do not use any fillers, each biodegradable tea bag still contains 100% pure Ceylon Alba cinnamon, just as it always has.
Cinnamon tea brews very differently from regular teas and requires a much longer steep to develop its full strength. For best results, we recommend steeping one tea bag for 10 to 15 minutes. A shorter steep can make the tea seem weak even though the quality hasn’t changed. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
