White Pepper is milder than black pepper, with a less complex flavor. Both whole and ground white peppers are available on our site

White pepper is handmade from fully ripe pepper berries. The berries are soaked in water for about 10 days, leading to fermentation. The skins are removed, which also removes some of the hot piperine and volatile oils that give black pepper its aroma. White pepper has a different flavor and heat component than black pepper.

White pepper should be added after the dish has been cooked.
