Zimtblattöl wird aus echtem Zimt destilliert, der hauptsächlich in Ceylon angebaut wird. Zimtblattöl hat einen warmen, würzigen, aber eher herben Geruch, dem der reichhaltige Körper des Rindenöls fehlt. Sein Hauptbestandteil ist Eugenol und nicht Zimtaldehyd.

Der hohe Eugenolgehalt des Öls macht es auch zu einer wertvollen Quelle dieser Chemikalie für die anschließende Umwandlung in Iso-Eugenol, einen weiteren Aromastoff.

What an excellent product. Very fast service. My grand daughter (11 years old) used this product to research and test her hypothesis that Ceylon cinnamon leaf oil would inhibit mold growth. She is now testing it on psoriasis and toe fungus. I will be using some soon in my winter baking. Pleasure doing business with you and I will be ordering different products again from Dru Era.
