Clove Spice
Clove Spice from Ceylon is world famous as it is very fragrant and pungent. Ceylon has been renowned for its range of spices for centuries.
Spices were the magnet that drew foreigners to Sri Lanka—first the Arabs, then the Portuguese, the Dutch, and finally the British, who made her a colony of their far-flung empire. In flavor and fragrance, Sri Lanka’s spices stand in a class of their own.
Cloves Spice - DRUERA Cloves are handpicked and they all contain a head attached to the stem. This is the highest grade of Cloves in Sri Lanka called "Hand Picked Cloves"

Sri Lanka produces and consumes a large number of spices. Cloves are the rich, brown, dried, unopened flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum, an evergreen tree in the myrtle family. The pink flower buds turn reddish-brown after drying and are pungent and sweet-tasting.
The name of cloves comes from the French "clou" meaning nail. Sri Lankan Cloves come from the mountainous central hills of Kandy. Cloves are hand picked at least 4 times per years. The buds are sun-dried for several days where they lose their pink color and turn brown.
Our Spices are grown in the wild and could be considered organic. They are free of any pesticides and herbicides.
