Ground Ginger -we are pleased to offer the rarest of all Ginger varieties also known as “Sidda” Ginger which is considered one of the most pungent varieties.

Uses of Ginger Powder
- Dried ginger powder is used in spices and masalas for gravies, curries, marinades, stews, etc.
- Mix cinnamon, fennel, cardamom, and cloves to make masala tea with dry ginger powder
- Marinades for Tandoori starters, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
- Used to flavor gingerbreads.
- Dried ginger powder is used for adding flavor to a variety of baked dishes like ginger cookies and ginger candies.
Ginger Tea & Ale Recipe
Measure 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger into a heat proof mug or glass and pour 1 cup of boiling water over it. Cover with a saucer and let sit for 10 minutes before straining. You could line a fine mesh strainer with a coffee filter to do so. Sweeten with honey or sugar as desired. To make a Ginger Ale Stir in 2 teaspoons of sugar/honey (adjust to taste) then gently add up to 1/2 cup carbonated water.
