I just received my second one pound container of Druera and I have to say it truly the real thing. The taste is mild and is great for uses in coffee, smoothies, etc.

I was super happy with this cinnamon. I like to grind it and put in my mashed squash. It grinds up so fine with no large chunks. The other brand, from China, is just to hard and tasteless. I'm very happy to have found this cinnamon.

I ordered this tea 2 or so years ago and thought it was fantastic. This time not so. Even using 2 tea bags at a time, the tea is not even close to what it was before with one tea bag. I was so disappointed. The quality is nothing like it was. I am not sure what happened but it must not contain near the amount of the pure cinnamon… must be lots of filler material. To clarify, we have not changed the Alba cinnamon grade used in our tea bags, and we do not use any fillers, each biodegradable tea bag still contains 100% pure Ceylon Alba cinnamon, just as it always has.
Cinnamon tea brews very differently from regular teas and requires a much longer steep to develop its full strength. For best results, we recommend steeping one tea bag for 10 to 15 minutes. A shorter steep can make the tea seem weak even though the quality hasn’t changed. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

This cinnamon is by far the best if you have health concerns or not. Doesn’t have the heavy metals the other cinnamons do. Has a very pleasant taste. Perfect with a little bit of honey in coffee. Highly recommend!

I like the cinnamon itself—the flavor is good. However, I was surprised that it arrived in a plastic container. At this price point, I would expect glass packaging. Even less expensive ones are stored in glass. Additionally, the shaker top holes are far too large and dispense way too much cinnamon at once, which makes it Very difficult to control portions.

To help with portion control, we recommend tearing off only part of the tamper-proof seal below the perforations. By exposing just a few holes on the shaker, you can easily limit the amount of cinnamon dispensed to suit your preference.
Regarding the packaging, we currently use FDA approved BPA free recycalable, food-safe plastic containers to ensure the product arrives safely without breakage during international shipping. Glass packaging, while prefered, has a much higher risk of damage in transit—especially for orders shipped long distances.

Occasionally, a batch can be a little drier than usual, which makes the thinner quills more likely to crumble, particularly when used as a coffee stirrer. That said, we understand your concern, especially since this is the first time you’ve experienced this after using our cinnamon for so long.
As a quick tip, we recommend using the thicker sticks as stir sticks for beverages, as they hold together better, and reserving the thinner ones for baking or cooking, where their aroma really shines.
